The mistake that was made was that Stabby was assumed to be the last townie and not Nuclearspeed. That's why TVMan didn't reveal the roles at the beginning of the day. Stating that Nuclearspeed was the last townie would have give Stabby away beyond a doubt. Here is the list of confirmed townies.

Patchkid15 (Patchkid logged on and then asked TVMan where his role was because he didn't have one. Thatguy saw his message before he deleted it. That's why there's a blank post by him in the Alive/Dead thread.)

Vudu and Oohhboy were both investigated by Nibbler. 18 Days missed the game, was killed and had the role revealed. Therefore, the error can only be between Stabby and Nuclearspeed.

I'm sorry about this whole thing Nuclearspeed. Unfortunately, that vote for 18 Days seemed more like a mafia member pretending to vote for one of their own to appear innocent later. It especially stood out considering it was the only vote cast for 18 Days when there were two bandwagons duking it out.

Finally, I made an error in judgement. On day 1, I become less convinced that Stevey was mafia but who to hit next? Thatguy and I were thinking about hitting Sir_Stabbalot instead. In fact, I mentioned to thatguy a convo I had with Sir_Stabbalot awhile ago. It was the Meowfia game. Stabby was mafia and I died by mafia hands at day 2. Interestingly though, Stabby posted a message to me in the dead thread stating that he was sorry I was dead and that he really respected me as a player. Because of that convo, I found it hard to believe that Stabby was so unwilling to change his vote when there was a chance I might be a townie with him. Could it be that he was mafia again and wanted me dead before I could do anything? It seems most likely now. I even told Sir_Stabby my role so that may have had more to do with him deciding to let me live since I might be recruited. Also, I took thatguy's explanation that Stabby was a townie. We were wrong. Good job, Stabby. You had us fooled. Unfortunately, the townie alliance grew too fast for you.

Vote Stabby and end the game.

Khushrenada pretty much covers it. I slipped up in PMs with Sir_Stabbalot, and while trying to cover my role, I asked SS to show me his PM from TVman to prove he was a townie, while attempting to pose as normal townie, myself. He then noted that normal townies didn't get a message telling them they are townies, which, essentially meant that I had unveiled to him that I had some sort of role.

But yeah, basically, at that point, if SS had gone on what he had learned from us, his cover would have been blown. Then, at the end of day 2, it was two late. All but 18 Days, NuclearSpeed, Dasmos, oohhboy, and Sir_Stabbalot's roles had been revealed to Khush and I. Then Dasmos was voted out, leaving the other four. At this point, I checked oohhboy, and we found that he was mafia, while NuclearSpeed starting PMing me. Eventually, he claimed to be a townie, and knowing there was only one townie left without a verified role, while there were only two players claiming to be townies, we knew we had to go after one with the vote, while we got ShyGuy to go after the confirmed Brain. It was just out luck that 18 Days was a Brain, but 18 Days could have only been a Brain or a townie at that point, so letting him die from vote abstinence was fine by us, since it could kill a brain or it could kill the last townie, confirming who the brains were.

At this point, NS died, and Sir_Stabbalot became the only person who's story didn't line up, though we had been listening it to the longest. I think it's pretty obvious from this thread that SS has given up and is pretty guilty through the evidence, but I guess that's left to everyone else to decide.

Edit: Well, that's five people, over half the vote, voting for Stabby, including himself...
I'm also for ending the day.

One final thing. Spak was instrumental in the forming of the townie alliance. He was one of the original three of the townie allinace which was Spak, thatguy, and myself. By the end of the day, we had stevey and Stabby vote for us. That night, Spak died. I thought it was a strange hit because Spak had stood out the least that day in the alliance and it was a blow because he was my best sounding board for strategy. I thought it might have been a revenge hit. The only game that might be a revenge hit is 18 Days mafia when he was a godfather. Looking through that, the only person playing in this game that had been killed by Spak was Nuclearspeed. That was another part of the error.

Having a key member die should have been a clue that someone was lying. In some ways, it did cause me to be more careful. I had a lot more private conversations with people and didn't give away as much info in the group. For example, many people in the alliance wanted Blackfootsteps dead but I had my own suspicions about Blackfootsteps being the doctor. In fact, I had sent BFS a message outlining exactly why the doctor needed to protect me and the importance of the protection. I let others think that BFS was mafia to keep my info secret for awhile and led a charge against Dasmos instead. It paid off. The same is true with the vigilante. I had deduced that Shyguy was Zap but I waited until evening to tell him and confirm. That way, I could make sure he was on our side but people would be too busy to rushed to learn that info until the day was over. It paid off.

And like thatguy said, because we assumed we know all actual townies, when Nuclearspeed said he was a townie, it just seemed like a lie.

Finally, I appeal to Stevey to use his power and bring back Spak or Blackfootsteps to share in the win. After all, they were key members of the allinace and got screwed by Stabby. They should still get their win.

I had a pretty good run, but couldn't quite make it to the end.

I'll make a fuller write-up later, but the main problem for me was that if I actually use the information I got from the alliance, I'd have blown my cover. Khush and thatguy did a great job reaching out and finding the major roles and townies, and Shyguy was a good shot. Also, Leela and Fry really hurt me. Not so much because of their abilities, but because they were named roles. That way there were less townies to hide among.

Ironic, I'll be the first mafia member to be voted off this game, yet the townies still win...

Good game otherwise, everyone.

EDIT: Actually Khush, it was the opposite. I hit Spak because he was talking, but you didn't seem to be interested in him. He seemed a safe choice that no one would miss.
