You need a friend code thread?   How do they work in strikers?

A friend code thread would be good assuming other people actually have the game. Though you'd have to put either (PAL) or (NTSC) after your friend code because they can't play each other.

It's the best online game i've ever played, so incredibly smooth and intense. Highly recommended!

Second'd. I'm having some network problems (I get kicked at the end of every online match, its probably the new router not being configured right) but aside from that its a lot of fun.

Yes, but only because the game isn't out yet in NTSC regions. The game does allow for worldwide play (otherwise Europe and Australia wouldn't be able to play online together right now). Friendly matches allow for worldwide play, while Ranked matches are restricted by continent (to prevent lag).

Actually it says in the manual PAL users can only play other PAL users even with friend codes. Ranked matches for me are just Australia, then with friend codes I get the rest of Europe.

The manual says PAL regions only for friend codes. Do you want us to show you a scan of it?

I'm scared of playing Mario when it finally comes out over here. I mean, I was pretty good at the first one, but I'll really need to pull up my socks if I want to challenge him.

Mario lies. I just got trounced 11-1 and 8-0 by a guy who knew the right time to use items and MegaStrikes. Skill is still a factor.

Normally, this is where I'd crack a joke at the expense of Australians, but yeah, you poor bastards have gotten the game shaft so many times that I couldn't even take sadistic glee from it.

I'm glad Nintendo considered all regions this time around.

Can one of you PAL people try to add my friend code?  I just get errors when trying to add any of yours, but I'm also dealing with a Wi-Fi-faulty Wii, so I want to isolate the problem.
