This is the trading thread! Post what you might be looking for, or what you want to give out, and when you get it, edit it out, so people will know.

This thread is not for friend codes!

I've got an endless supply of Aipom eggs that have Double Hit bred onto them, meaning they'll evolve after one level into Ambipom.
I'm not picky at all, so I'll trade for anything, pretty much. Just let me know what you want.

I now have a Ditto, meaning I can breed several valuable Pokemon for you!
Starting probably later tonight, I will be breeding the Pokemon that have already been requested in this thread that I have. I can breed all twelve starters, the three from every game. Also, Pikachu, since I guess he counts as a starter.

I have loads of Cranidos, Lvl. 20. This may be asking for a lot, but I'm interested in the older starters (Bulbasaur) and would also like a Pikachu or Pichu.

I'd like to know if I can get an old starter before beating the game.

Looks like you can trade anything with friends, but before you get the nationaldex - where would a charmander go in the initial pokedex?

I have the dark flying type Murkrow (lvl 17) which is Diamond exclusive. I'd like a charmander or perl exclusive.

The GTS really works well for me too... both requests I made (Onix, Pikachu) were filled after 24hrs max. Of course I can't get a charmander that way.

i think the only way im gonna get a charmander is when i beat the game first and open up the pal park. My Pokemon FireRed game I have all the starting pokemon (Bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander).

Which isn't much of an option if you don't have any past games.

I'm not sure why you can't request anything you want at the GTS, and not just the ones you've seen, after you beat the game. (Or maybe you can? -I'm only 3/8 of the way there)

I think this time around, I'm gonna be playing this game solely for battling and having fun in the community instead of collecting. Especially since I do not have Ruby, Sapphire, Leaf Green, Silver, or any of those spinoffs that I believe have some exclusive pokemon or something. Once I beat the game I may decide to unload some FireRed Pokemon if anyone is interested. Charmander is mine though.

Yeah, I've edited my first post, but to let people know, thanks to my bred Aipoms, I've gotten lots of older Pokemon from previous generations, and now have a Ditto, too, so if any regulars from here want something, I certainly don't mind getting it for them if I have it. I have all but two starters, too, so those are options. I don't have a Chikorita or a Treecko, but all the other ones, I can breed. Just ask, and I'll get to it, especially if we're both online at the same time or if there is another meet-up.

I'm game for that.. If you have perl I have a few specific to diamond to hopefully offer a useful trade. (Instead of 3 off Gyarados

Edit: How'd you get a Ditto btw... never seen one of those yet - or did you make quite a bit of progess since a few days ago :p

Alright, Shecky, what do you want? I've got Pearl, so we should be able to get some good trades.

Edit: I've made virtually no progress, what-so-ever since we played. Except for breeding these Aipoms. Those Aipoms, along with nice marketing on GFAQs, have given me several new pokemon. In fact, I have two Dittos. I can't get them to breed more, though. I thought that they could. Anyways, to get Pokemon not in the Sinnoh dex, you either have to beat the game, or you have to do a direct trade, not using the GTS, unless you've seen the Pokemon before. I now have about 60 various pokemon, at least 20 are not in the Sinnoh dex. Before I started w/ the Aipoms, I had about 15.

Well you mention you have starters... does that mean you have those from earlier generations? (like charmander?) I'd be curious to know if that even shows up in the pokedex if you do.

Alright, I'll trade for most anything. At this point, I have every starter from every game, and can breed them all. Just tell me which ones you'd enjoy owning, and I'll get you their eggs. I don't know which ones are version exclusive, but I'm not picky, and I can work with extras of species, even if you give me a double I already own.

Edit: I'll let you know when I get the Kanto starters bred, and we can trade.

Double Edit: Alright, Shecky, I've got them, do you want them hatched?

Triple Edit: Alright, traded. I have have a hatched Charmander for WuTangTurtle, and I've gotten a set of the original three ready for Johnny. They're ready for trading! If anyone needs something else, post here, and I'll see what I can do. I just noticed Johnny wanted a Pichu, so I'll breed him on of those, too.

If it works the same way as in Fire Red and such, they don't appear in the Pokedex at all, until you've obtained a National Dex. So you can have them in your party but there information is non-existent in the Sinnoh dex.

That's as far as I'm listing. I don't really like to catch uncommon things, so I don't have a lot of the more common things, oddly enough. Then when people ask, I can't remember the ones I haven't caught, because I assume I already have the common ones I've skipped over. That's part of the reason why I'm willing to trade for so many easier to find things.

hmm, i already have each of them... u got anything else, otherwise I'll just settle for the geodude.

Oh and thatguy, I can go back and pick up my Ponyta sometime tommorow if nobody has already traded with me in the GTS otherwise I could just go catch one real quick for u, or i could catch a pachirisu for u since u don't have that. Whatever one u want more just let me know.

Silcoon and Beautifly are not as exclusive as Nintendo would claim. Cascoon in the wild is exclusive to Pearl through the Honey Trees, but you can get a Wurmple to evolve into a Cascoon which then evolves into Dustox without trading or cheating.

Also I am transfering over from my GBA versions and breeding. I have been breeding Munchlax's and Snorlax's and putting them up on the GTS for insanely easy to get Pokemon. Because I am nice. =)

I have all starters, just not all have been transferred over yet.

Nitsu, I already beat you to it, though I do need a Munchlax. I'll go look for one on the GTS. I haven't even used that yet, or at least, not successfully. Anyways, I probably have some stuff you might not, the majority of my pokemon are from the older generations from my trading. If you're looking for something, let me know.

The more friendly people on GTS the better

I'm batting 100 on the GTS. However, I always have to leave a request and check back. I wonder if the sane trades just happen too quickly. For example, I went to look for Cascoon and only found people asking for some Palkia or other high level pokemon (maybe they got it from the golden trees and think it's super rare?). Only one match came in for a Silcoon. By the time I left and came back with a Silcoon though, it was gone. I simply put in the request (Silcoon for a Cascoon) and it was fullfilled several hours later when I checked.

Edit: I don't plan to "Catch them all", but I'd like to be able to reasonably get something that I found entertaining to play with as I encounter it, and from my understanding - most pokemon are 'easy enough' to catch. So trades should never have to be outlandish.
