Topic: Next N-console better be backwards compatible

 They really should make the next console backwards compatible. They could easily do it unless they went back to cartridge format. Even if they made their next console with full size discs you could still be able to play gamecube games in them. Just like on the computer how you can have mini blank cd's that are the size of gamecube games in the hard drive. Also it would give my parents a real good reason for me to buy it.

Just becasue they use the same media format, doesn't automatically mean they can include backwards compatibility. Besides, you could always just save your money for a bit longer and keep your GameCube.
