Well she isn't dead yet, and the surgeon sounded optimistic. Yeah if she makes it through things will have to change big time, she will get tired more easily and will have to be careful, along with being on special meds. As of now they say she has a 50/50 chance, but like I said things are looking more positive each day since she is stable, tomorrow they remove the pump that is helping her heart, if that goes ok things are looking way up. See what bothers me the most, and maybe I should have pushed it more, but she was someone who hated doctors and refused to get a check up or take meds even when her blood pressure hovered around 200 over 100 for a long time in addition to high cholesterol. If she would have gotten yearly check ups at the very least, chances are they could have caught the damage before now (They say she had minor heart attacks that she may not have been aware of).
