Soma Bringer seems like it should be pretty fun, pretty similar to the Mana series without the huge emphasis on weapon types. It's interesting how you can start with anyone from this whole crew of characters. You have a standard attack on one button and then you can map other kinds of attacks to the other buttons. It's always tough to get a feel for an RPG based on the first hour and without understanding the story though.

I only did the gameplay in the Wii version.

I just hope it turns out to be more fun than Children of Mana. CoM was an average game I guess, but it just seems like it was missing something. Maybe if the weapons actually had a visual difference instead of just a stat change, I think that's what I'm expecting from Soma Bringer.

Surprising how much the Wii version of Bully looks like the PS2 version. Also, Blood, you were saying earlier (and maybe somewhere else) that you hadn't played Kirby 64 before but were enjoying it now; what were your final thoughts?

I still have to finish Kirby, but I've gotten further and I still like it a lot. Just something cool and charming about the style, which is pretty different from pretty much any other game.

Puyo Puyo 2, VC Gameplay
DoReMi Fantasy, VC Gameplay

First of all, I'm stunned that Nintendo let these games be released with no translations whatsoever. I can navigate them fine, but the average person can't even tell the difference between one player and two player modes in Puyo Puyo.

Secondly, in the first couple levels I played DoReMi was pretty awesome. I'd recommend it.

Wow, DoReMi looks really nice, I like the visual style. The "uh-oh!" animation where he fell in the pit was cool too. I don't remember seeing something like that before.

They like their parties. It was a decent event though. The games are kind of middle of the road. They're doing different little things within established genres, but nothing that sets the world on fire. Legendary looks like the best of the bunch. I'm afraid Mushroom Men will probably be on the level with Crash Bandicoot. Dungeon Hero has some neat ideas, but it's way early. Same with Section 8.

No, and no one wants to watch that shonen-ai footage either. &P

I listened to Invisible Walls. Invisble Walls has a wierd format though, it's like a mix of a podcast with game footage, and I really don't know what to make of it because it seems like it is a show that is intended to be a podcast but it has video footage because well it is a site that is focused on game footage... yeah I know, my reasoning seems confusing.
Wait, hang on, I didn't know that I could download Invisible Walls lol now I can listen to it on the go.

Yeah, let me post that link then, since it seems that most people are more interested in the downloadable versions: http://www.gametrailers.com/invisiblewalls_list.php

You can grab either ipod video or mp3 formats there. Also, if you didn't know, pretty much all of our standard definition videos have ipod versions available under the download drop down box.

I watched the video version when you first posted it, Blood; I like that it identifies who's saying what. Neat feature! It's always good to hear a cast that's about non-Nintendo stuff, sometimes I get stuck inside my little hole.
