Topic: Vigilante 8 (Luxoflux/Activision) on the Wii VC?

Destructiod posted a rumor that it appears that Vigilante 8 is being prepared for a future release on the XBox Live Arcade.

I used to love this game on the Nintendo 64 and with the rather tiny selection of titles available from the N64 on the Wii Virtual Console, hopefully it's just a matter of time before we start seeing some 3rd party N64 games hit the VC. What are our chances seeing maybe a simultaneous release of V8 for the N64 the same week (or week after) that it hits the XBLA?

I'd be happy.

Mildly related - I'd buy Beetle Adventure Racing in a second, but I'm going to guess the VW liscense might keep that from happening.

That was a great game, and I'm sure VW would love to work something out for some more ingame advertising.

Now if only they would allow for online multiplayer through the VC I would definately repurchase it. No point in buying it again to play by myself.

Beetle Adventure Racing was one of my favorite N64 games, and I'd buy it without hesitation as well.

As for Vigilante 8, I remember seeing the commercials for it and wanting the game, but I've never had the chance to play it.
