Heres the Site
According to it there are 65 people with the same name as me. 0 with my Mom name. It also has a variety of other statistics.
Ironically enough I cam across this from the Shook facebook group (328 strong and growing.)

Man, I got picked on so much as a kid for my last name, and now everyone thinks it's awesome.

In elementary school I get "HA HA MIKE GAY-MAN"!

Then I grow up and I get this "Mike Gamin! When we saw your last name we knew you had to be an omeganaut" Coming from Gabe and Tycho at PAX '05.

It's like the twilight zone!

There are only 8 people in the US with my real name which is interesting since neither my first or last name is irregular. It just seems that the combination is uncommon. I'm curious to know how many are in Canada. The US has a WAY bigger population than Canada and if only 8 people over there have my name for all I know I could be the only person in my country with my name.

Though I'll bet there are tons of people in the UK with my name. My last name is English and "Ian" is a much more common first name over there than it is here.

My brothers have ten times the people I do and my Dad has around 30 times as many. My Mom has 0 for both her current name and her maiden name.

Edit: I checked some of my friends' names. Not only is there no one in the US with the same name as my friend Adam but there's no one with his last name PERIOD. Yet in school every teacher always pronounced his name correctly on the first try but never got mine despite it being phonetic. Go figure.
