Magaed Library for Windows for Wiimote

The Article

I saw this while opening Visual Studio to do some C# for work. I've only read the introduction so far but it sounds interesting.  I thought I post it here for everyone to see and take a look if they feel inclined to know more about how the Wiimote talks with the Wii and like.

I don't understand the code, but I do understand how relatively easy it was to adapt the Wiimote on a Windows PC.

Could this mean the PC indie community could start using the Wiimote in their projects?

There's already a Half-Life 2 mod that lets you play the game with a Wii remote.

That was a really poorly made driver, the video's show its barely controllable

Well done to Brain, if you read his comments, seems like his future updates will allow the wii control to do everything it can on the wii

Sweat.  I haven't read the whole thing yet, I got sidetracked by going to the places he references.

They're still working on it as far as I know.  I think they recently released a new version of it, though I've never used it.  Anyway, I wasn't trying to steal this API's thunder or anything, just responding to unknown's indie community question.  That is, people are already experimenting with controling PC games with the Wii remote.
