You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?
« on: March 29, 2007, 09:00:09 PM »
When I go to shut down or restart windows and then walk away from my computer, only to come back about 10 minutes later and windows has to inform me that some program wasn't functioning properly and wants to know if I want to end the program.

Wasn't I just shutting down the computer and wouldn't that already "end" all the programs?

That's What Really Grinds My Gears!!

I hate it when Windows updates, then is all "WOULD YOU LIKE TO RESTART NOW!?" and I'm all "No..." and then I leave the room only to come back to find that it restarted anyway...

I hate it when I go home for lunch and come back and my computer has no programs open because the computer automatically updated and then restarted because of it.

Another thing that grinds my gears is when I can't find the droids I'm looking for.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

It's even worse if you keep using your computer for several more hours and having a window pop up every few minutes saying "Do you wanna restart NOW?" and having to continually tell it "I WILL RESTART ON MY OWN LATER!"

That is very annoying, you would think that telling it once you will restart late ron your own would be enough.

If you gently stroke your computer it does everything you want.

You know what really grinds my gears?

People taking other people's statements on the internet and making those statements seem like they have some risque innuendo to them. Or making statements with risque innuendo.

But that is nothing compared to not being able to park in the handicapped parking spots. Seriously. Why do we still have these? Do you think disabled people like being seperated from everyone and being treated different? Of course not. That's why I see people with disabilities park in other spots. They don't want to be treated different. If the disabled aren't even going to use those spots. then why can't I? It just GRINDS MY GEARS SO MUCH. Then, when I try to park there, (to show that I don't judge people by their disabilities and that we are all equal) I get a ticket. Then when I start asserting my rights, they throw me in jail. I AM JUST SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!

By the way, the guards are telling me that this counts as my one phone call and time is up so could someone phone my lawyer and let my parents know where I am?

Hey, quit grabbing! I'm almost done typing. OW. My lawyer is so going to hear about that. Give me back the keyboard! I ak n;a  asd ano a9-f dcm  ;O; o DIOvdewipwe9p234  9e3r  Q QARG tHIS ISN'T FAIR I TELLS YA ;R;P A IJNCAV  EWRI OWWWW V A; IUAV I FVA SON OF A OARIE 0P[FV' '[RIA GR0[9G

I hate it when a program crashes and I try to close it, but I can't for some reason. So, to use the program, I have to shut down my comp, but it won't let me 'cause the damn program won't close. Then I just hold the button and it shuts off. That's fixes the problem, but it really grinds my gears.

Use the task manager to kill the process, then restart the program. Also, get a $69 Vista Premium Upgrade from any academic software website, and do a full install with it (install, don't enter product ID, don't do any online updates, then reinstall as an upgrade and DO enter the product ID, then download updates AFTER installing).

I don't see how right-wingers can't see that making abortions illegal would do nothing but ensure that babies would be killed in alleyways (with coathangers, or by leaving them in dumpsters), instead of in doctor's offices. But then, I guess you can't see much of anything when you have your head up your ass.

You know how you get those boners in the morning because your bladder is so full of urine that only an erection can stop the dam from bursting? That grinds my gears of war. You have to like stand thousands of miles away from the toilet to get it in.

And what happens if you miss? That Duck Hunt dog laughs while holding his paw over his gob to stop the demons from escaping and eating ALL the scrambled eggs in McDonalds Big Breakfasts. They're not even that big. You know what's big? You know how you get those boners in the morning because your bladder is so full of urine that only an erection can stop the dam from bursting?

Infernal, the solution is simple. Just do like I do and wear Depends. I don't have that problem anymore. It's also space age approved since it's the same method used by NASA.
