Mario Vs. DK2

I picked up a DS and this game recently, and it is great game. I've been trying to get gold stars in each of the levels. Why is this game getting no love? It is the best game ive played in a long while, if a little short. The level construction is a great idea, but i havent used it yet. Lets speak about the awesome of this game, or else the minis will get you.

I thought it was cute, but it didn't spark my interest nearly as well as the original did.

The first one gave you a feeling of cheating the system by using Mario's special moves to reach the exit. This one just didn't replicate that feeling of outsmarting the game since the path was typically set and you just needed to figure it out and follow it.

I was also disappointed by the lack of a showdown between Pauline and Peach, but that's just wishful fanboy thinking.

The lack of paths is quite bad for replay value but i still find it very fun to try getting gold stars(got 45 so far). also i like the boss battles, kinda reminds me of classic shooters. Also final and hidden bosses are great.

I played a bit of the original and found it very good, problem was it came out after my GBA got stolen. I should pick up gba games i missed out on.

I thought the same about the predecessor.
