I prefer not to. Just like I NEVER have bookmarks on any of my most-frequented sites (I only bookmark sites I need for research), or I NEVER have any computer memorize my passwords for me, I NEVER want to have the words I speak on the internet automated too far beyond my control. I'm not averse to pop culture references, pseudo-wit, and declarations or insignias of identity. I just want them to be something uttered from my own person instead of impersonally by a couple lines of code. It also helps me to remember to think about what I say. If I sign each post personally, that means that I have a moment where I mentally commit to the arguments, rants, and flames that I'm spewing forth, and thus remember that even on the internet, sometimes you say things you can't take back.
And I WILL get a Myspace one of these days, almost necessary for netowkring purposes I'd think... I'm just old-fashioned and traditional when it comes to computers and self-identity.
