Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

F-Zero X. Lolo.

The surest sign we have that Europe is in a drought is that they're getting some awesome VC releases.

Kirby's Dream Course (SNES, 800)
Bloody Wolf (TG, 600)

Seems they can't be bothered to get even 3 games a week now that they're past 100... Or maybe they skipped some games for Germany since ratings on games apply to online sales as well and Nintendo can't verify the buyer's age... Naah, knowing NoE they'd just skip those games completely.

KDR:  I know the release of actual Wii games sucks in Europe, but your Virtual Console game releases are awesome.

You guys almost get everything before we do in the US.

Right now you have one of my favorite games from the SNES era Kirby's Dream Course.  I rented that game like 2 times in a row and just played that game to death.  It is tons of fun and a nice quirky golf game that truly feels like putt putt golf and kirby blended together perfectly.

I always wanted a sequel to that game.

I tried it once and hated it because your lives are limited and you only get a fixed number of moves.

I remember the problems with limited moves and lives...but in way (at least to me) that was part of the charm of the game.

It was one part Putt Putt.
one part Kirby Game. (Defeating the enemies on the field.)
one part Puzzle Game. (Time your hits to attack enemies, use power ups wisely, and make par in time)

The game truly was a great genre blending game...and I will welcome its return.

Air “Zonk” (TG16)
Paper Mario (N64)

North America is now the only region without Paper Mario.  If we don't get it on Monday heads will roll.

Crap. N64 games cost 1000 points and I only have 800 left, I'll need a new points card for that and there's so many other things I want to buy right now... Gamestop has a sale that includes DS and Wii games and I'm thinking about getting Phoenix Wright.

Metroid (NES, 500)
Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES, 800)
Silent Debuggers (TG, 600)

Note: All prices are estimates, I have not verified them.

Wow, two crappy games and one that still has a better version to be released. I'm sure as hell not buying any of these.

NoE's website claims there's also

Breath of Fire II (SNES)
Lunar pool (NES)

but the VC doesn't list them.

Okay, they removed those two from their website. Did they accidentally leak next week's games?

Mega Drive/Genesis:

Dynamite Headdy
Shining Force
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master

TG16:

Drop Off

I'm sure Shinobi III means something to some people.  I think it's the first game in the series to be released anywhere on VC.
