Ok. My original Wii did the same thing with the Shopping Channel but it gave an Error-code that indicated it had to be sent back when looked up. I called Nintendo, gave the 5 dollars for the instant replacement pretty much (You keep your Wii till a new one comes in the mail and you ship them the old one in the box it came in.) You won't be Wiiless then. Took them all of 3 days during a holiday season to boot.
(They might refund the $5 because they just want a credit card to charge in case you keep both.)
