The problem with Bob Sagat...do you want me to tell you what the problem with Bob Sagat is? I'll tell you. He keeps playing nice guys, when he is so very clearly not a nice guy. You know how Seinfeld is when he's pretending to be nice? Bob Sagat is like that ALL THE TIME, and he does it without a hint of irony. It's this discrepancy that makes him so unlikeable.

Now, if I were directing a movie, I'd cast Bob Sagat as a schmuck. I am convinced he'd make a great schmuck.
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon

Are you kidding?! America's Funniest Home Videos was a riot during the Saget era! I just loved those clever voices. Bob Saget didn't talk over the clips, he spoke through them.

You ever suck some dick for marijuana?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

His version of "The Aristocrats" was sick...but awesome.
"OK, first we need someone to complain about something trivial. Golden or S_B should do. Then we get someone to defend the game, like Bill or Mashiro. Finally add some Unclebob or Pro666 randomness and the thread should go to hell right away." -Pap64

Anybody heard of "Farce of the Penguins"?  It's a parody of March of the Penguins, written by Saget and narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.

P.S. although I always found the show a bit cheesy, I have to agree that the Saget era kicks poopshoots on all other AFHV eras.
That's my opinion, not yours.

I caught part of AFHV today when I got home and it was awful. Bob Saget was 10 times better at Full House than on that show. Don't get me wrong, Full House was really cheesy, but his work on AFHV was awful. You can tell how much he hated his job. He never laughed at any of crappy jokes, he never smiled, and the small talk he made with the winners lacked any soul.

At least they payed him well (probably).

To be honest, when I read the title of the topic, i thought you were talking about Unclebob, whose been missing for a while.

As for this Bob, I've never seen any of his original shows and stand up stuff, but I do believe it when they say that he is a very crude, rude guy.
