Wind Waker Tingle Connectivity Question/Issue
« on: March 14, 2003, 10:01:50 AM »

QUESTIONk can you tell me if this is right? In Wind Waker you don't need anything speical for your gameboy except a link cable to do the tingle map helper option thingy? You don't need to put a game in it or something? Example: Lets say my brother has a gameboy advance and I have a link cable and gamecube. We use the link cable to connect the GBA and GCN without any game and it'll work.
Issue: I saw a video of the tingle connection and it took a while. Do you think this will make gamers not want to use this function as much or as often?

The items you need for this to work is

Nintendo Gamecube
Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Advance link cable to cube

all you do is find Tingle in WW and talk to him.  He gives you a Tingle something and you can have a second person use the gameboy advance to control tingle.  You don't actually see him but you see this green mark where he is.  It only takes long when you first use it.  Then once your connected you can play without anything else.  This is supposed to be a two player thing.  I'll use it alot .

One minor thing though.  This feature may be cool, but the only thing that is bad is that it has to load each time you go through a door.  It doesn't take that long though.  Maybe like five seconds.  But its a very cool feature with two people to play Zelda.  It's a Zelda fans dream come true.

a 10year old playing  ResidentEvil0?...now,that's not right....sorry,but...I'd say he's too young...it's rated Mature for a reason...

and parents complain about kids influenced by violence and gore in games and here, they give it to him!...bah,the whole world's messed up...

My parents say that we can have games with as much blood and gore as we want as long as it doesn't have sex/bad language. I am 13 and I can play it. He really likes the game and he beat it recently. I was surprised how little I had to help him. No wait I printed out pages and pages of FAQs that helped him immensly.       And I HATE it when he finishes stuff before I do. And I am selfish, so cuz I bought it myself I didn't want him to use it cuz we fight a lot. OK *RAMBLE MODE OFF*
