Tingle's Rupee Land Headed to € Land

While 1up still seems to consider it a rumor CVG says Nintendo has confirmed it.

God, I hope this is true.  Even if I do have to import it, at least I'll know what the hell is going on.

Hell yes.

I will add this to my import list.
I must find a way to use "burninate" more in my daily speech.

That's my opinion, not yours.

I import Japanese Ds games all the time and they tend to run 50-60 dollars, then if you dont like waiting forever for them theres usually HEFTY shipping prices.  So I do not see this being any different.

I f!cking hate, HATE the idiots who didn't allow the game to be released in the americas by being such retards about a damn VG character.

It'll get an American release, relax. This is just NoE's attempt at making up for attempting to ruin the DS all through 2006. Think Zelda Minish Cap, it'll get released in America shortly later, half the price.

wow, really? I had the image that Europe gets everything terribly late, so Tingle going there but not here was a sure sign of the game not getting a NA release, I didn't know such thing happen to minish cap, then again, minish cap didn't have a poll asking people if it should be released or not, I really don't know who to hate more, the people who voted against the game or Nintendo for doing such a stupid poll to begin with.

Parodius
Donshin the Giant
Giftpia
KuruKuru Kururin

All games that made it from Japan to Europe.

Coincidence? Nah. They're simply too cute for America. America needs EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEME characters and those just cut the mustard. They're gheeey and lack in-your-face attitude.

Sarcasm aside, general Americans (and possibly Canadians) would let the cute factor override common sense that, despite a "non-standard" exterior, it still has the potential to be a MIGHTY FINE GAME.

Wha... You guys didn't get freaking Parodius?

Giftpia wasn't released in Europe. Donkey Kong: King of Swing was released, though.

Giftpia :sigh:

I really wanted that game. Still have to get Kurukuru Kururin, though I have all the others in the series. Doshin is awesome and I've never even heard of Parodius. To me it doesn't matter if Tingle gets released here in America because it will get it's English translation in Europe anyway which means I can import and play in English anyway.

Just looked into Parodius and it sounds pretty cool. I'd love to see it on the Virtual Console, but I doubt that'll happen. Living in America sure has it's downfalls. I wish I had the patience to learn Japanese. It's just too complicated for me.

There's KK for the GBA of which I got when I was living in Europe, there's KK2 (GBA) and there's the GC KK game but I have no idea if they had European releases, if they did then I would definitely try to import KK2 and KKGC.

Oh, and I sure hope they bring the Tingle game to the Americas.

You really need to find a better abbreviation for KuruKuru Kururin.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Only KK1 got released here, because stores had so much surplus of that and some still have it they decided there's no demand and skipped Paradise and Squash. I got KK when a store was dumping a huge number of copies of it and various crappy licensed games for 10€ a piece, I've imported Squash but since European Wiis can't use the Freeloader I have to keep the GC around to play that.
