No dogs are as potentially, or naturally as dangerous as Pit Bulls. People with kids and Pit Bulls are idiots, end of story. There was a local man last week (adult male here) who had one for 7 years, and it was "good with the kids". The guy decided to get down and play on the ground with the dog - it mauled the man so badly he had to get both arms amputated. Any Pit Bull has the potential to "snap" at any time, no matter how tame you think it is.

I love pit bulls for that exact reason, as terrible as it sounds. They can kill a small girl...

That's why I said people with kids. I've got a 1 year old daughter, so I'm never going to get a Pit Bull. If I didn't have a kid, I'd probably get one, to kill people, and if it ever turned on me, I probably would have deserved it.
