Red Steel Time Frame
« on: December 10, 2006, 04:02:15 AM »
About how long is Red Steel or about how many levels are there? I am borrowing the game from a friend and I am not sure how far away I am from completing it.
Thanks!

Last time I heard the game lasted around 15-20 hours.

There is already an official Red Steel discussion thread, all your questions will be answered there.

I saw the Red Steel thread. I didn't want to read through all 35 pages. After looking at a few I thought I would post.

My in-game time was only 9 something hours.  It might have hit 10 at the end.

I've got about 4 hours invested in Red Steel and I'm only 30-something % done. It looks like every hour played is about 7.5-8.0% of the game.

I love the game! I have to use the Legacy layout when I play Halo. All other layouts make me ill. I tried Resistance, but all that can be changed with the controls is the y axis and button layout. I thought that was aweful for a game like that to have no button mapping. That is the only game I would want for the PS3 at this time. The only thing that annoys me about Red Steel is when I spin around frantically after it loads, and the sometimes awkward sword fights. I was a little leary about getting the game because of all the reviews, but the controls are just right for me. I actually didn't even touch Zelda this weekend becasue I was so into Red Steel. They can only make the series better. Lets hope they work out the sword fights, IMO.
Thanks!
