Smeernoffs is all I ever drink and I never get drunk. Except that one time but it was my birthday and until the damn cops showed up it was going pretty good.

southern comfort, it tastes like candy! I usually have some sort of rum or vodka, i dislike tequila, except patron, but patron is damned expensive. Anything lemon makes tequila taste delicious though.

Tequila brings back bad memories of doing slammers with some chicks and singing Bohemian Rhapsody (seriously, who knows the words? I think the only person who does is dead from being a homosexual and was a frontman for Queen).

Vodka is pure weakness in a bottle. If you want to drink something tasteless, drink water. If you want to get hammered, do it in style and do something else.

My spirit of choice these days is line-ball between bourbon and scotch. Both go down well when mixed or straight, and both lead to hilarious events like attempting to play wingman and unwittingly stealing the flight leader's target, chatting up random chicks and not being able to remember their name - effectively ruining all chances of progression, and just general drunken antics.

Also, beer is very underrated. Its cheaper than everything else here. Cheaper drinks means the night will go further. I'm more of a fan of long drinking sessions then drinking 10 shots in a row early on. That's just not as fun because you'll probably end up bringing it all back up later on.

beer isnt really cheaper, a bottle of most alcohol is about 20 bucks, it has at least an alcohol percentage of 14(low end), beet only ever gets up to 9%, so it takes more beers to get drunk, by mixing it with kool-aid, you can go even cheaper!

Ah yes, now you're talking about crazy exchange rates. Lets talk about alcohol content instead:

Beer: 4.5%, say 330mL bottles, 24 in a carton, works out to 356mL of alcohol in a carton.
Whiskey: 40% alcohol, 700mL bottle, works out to be 280mL alcohol total.

Unless you're buying rocket fuel (more than 50% alcohol content), chances are you can probably spend the same amount of money and get a decent bottle of scotch or a decent carton of beer. It just comes down to choice.

PS I await the cries of "Down with the metric system." You Yankees are awesome even if you are a little backward.

Gentleman Jack is the only way to go gents. Gold Rum also works, if there is no Jack around. Plus I must agree with Shift Key beers are good to keep the night going.

what? Alcohol is measured in liters-mililiters

i only use the english measuremnt system for weight, distance, and temperature, for everything else I use the metric system, i dont get pints etc,

Personally, I prefer Courvosier, Hennessey or Remy Martin. I prefer them all on the rocks, but you can mix or chase Hennessey with Apple Juice (Hen & Juice).

I can drink Tequila, but it always comes with a disclaimer:
"I am no longer responsible for my actions or the words that come out of my mouth after drinking shots of tequila"

It also helps to have an altrernate(drunk) personality to blame everything on.

But the problem with beer is the amount you have to drink of it, fluid wise. You always have to piss after a you break the seal on a 1:1 basis. Its very annoying. I'm usually full and have to pee way before I could consider myself drunk.

alcohol cleans the bloodstream, and is good for the heart, that is not in excess, only excessive use harms the body. Moral, drink responsibly! If your drinking becomes irresponsible then you are an alcoholic and must stop.
