Topic: Bestbuy holding out until Dec 17th

So, i went to bestbuy today thinking i was gonna get my hands on a spanking new wii. turns out that they are holding their wiis for a re-release on dec 17th. i got this info from the manager at our local bestbuy in baton rouge, la.

i found out that circuit city and toys-r-us had some in stock today. but by the time i found out, they were sold out.

it should be illegal to hold merchandise like that! now i probably have to wait until the 17th to play the wii.

anyone else know of any wii re-releases? please post if you do.

if you look in your Sunday newspaper ads, you'll see that Circuit City and Wal-Mart are having 're-releases' this week.  Circuit City's may have already happened, but Wal-Mart's is on the 6th.

Well I'm just glad I got mine at Best Buy's "relaunch" last Sunday, considering it's still impossible to get a Wii without waiting in line.

the only good thing about not getting until probably the 17th from bestbuy is that i won't be distracted during final exams. i have my last final on the 16th at 5pm. i'll def be ready for some gaming after that
