So any opinions from objective individuals that aren't Suda 51 stalkers or thought Killer7 was the greatest game ever?   Like someone who may not have liked Killer7 but really enjoy NMH?

Yes, just picked the game up and it's pretty damn nice.  I can pretty much cosign Djunknown's impressions.

Check the reviews. Nearly all of them have been good, if not glowing.

Back when Killer 7 was released reviews were EXTREMELY mixed, you either had fantastic reviews or reviews that deemed K7 as the worst game in existence.

NMH, however, is gathering a lot more support.

I searched hard to find it in my city of all places, but I got and and after playing for a few hours I'm so glad. I'm not a Suda51 or Killer Seven fan at all, but I like the way pop culture is being smacked around by this game. This is a game that got a lot of work put into it and doesn't suck. Instant win.

I got the game about 2 hours ago I am in agreement with the impressions. I just beat Dr. Peace. Did a little roaming around the city bought some clothes went to the gym upgraded my skills. I agree Kairon the sound and voice acting is one of the best parts of the game. I might not be able to answer your question fully as this is my 1st Suda 51 game, but its very enjoyable. My only gripe is the in between mission part could get dull after awhile. Also the cutscenes are hilarious!!!

I like Jeane.

Also, what did Sylvia say in the first two phone calls?  My Wii-Remote was on silent by accident, and I forgot to turn it up/couldn't get to the menu when they happened.

I like Jeane too!

In the first phone call, Sylvia goes on and on, and in the second one she's more brief.  Nothing of conseuence, just talking about the upcoming boss battles.

I never played Killer 7, but I'm enjoying NMH.  I will say it could use a bit more polish (camera, slowdown), but it's got style galore, and that's important to me.  I keep wishing Miyamoto had had a month or 2 with it to clean it up a bit.  That said, I love it, and it gets better the deeper I get.  I like that it's a uniquely Wii game- it couldn't be ported without losing a lot of its charm.  To me, it feels like a cross between RE4 and Viewtiful Joe.

i dont stalk Suda51 nor do i think Killer7 is the greatest game ever made. I played it for about 10 mins and just wasnt ever compelled to play it again. hell i forgot i had it at one point.
Also im not really liking Contact either.. im glad i picked both up used for dirt cheap.

NMH on the other hand.. great stuff. Sure its not perfect but its entertained me non stop since i popped the sucker in. if i didnt have to finish Mario Galaxy, NMH would probably be glued in there for some time now

I am pretty disappointed that apparently the game does not support widescreen unless I am missing an option, those black bars are not good for my TV.

I can't believe that it's not widescreen, the reviews would have mentioned that and deducted 3 and a half points off the score for it.

okay, so this game is sold out everywhere, and I had to resort to ordering it online.

Thanks a lot, third parties.  You either make millions of copies of shovelware or three copies of a good game.

Roommate beat it at 4:30 am last night. Now we both desperately need sleep.

Holy crap, does your roommate have a life? How long did it take?

It is kind of funny that people have had a hard time finding the game, because around 6pm yesterday I went to my local gamestop and picked it up with no problem.

About 11 hours. The game offers to let you start a new file and play again from the beginning, possible on a different difficulty level, with all your items and money intact. So when you beat the game people, SAVE IT ON A DIFFERENT FILE!

My roommate has been borderline sick all week too. I'm hoping NMH was just the thing to relax him and cfure him of his malady, or the thing to make him finally crash hard and get it out of his system that way.
