About Golden Axe, it's available on the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2, along with GA 2 and 3.

I will become intersted in the VC when Sin and Punishment, Orge Battle 64 and Seiken Densentsu 3 are available for download.  Those are a few of the games I would be willing to pay for at current VC prices.

Till then I feel the VC is over priced.

You know I could see Blast Corp actually being a good fit on the 360 with New High Res graphics.  Though it might just be too quirky in its own way.  At that point I see it going to VC.

Columns is a very interesting and fun puzzle game, but it doesn't have the depth of later puzzle games, or Tetris for that matter...Perhaps it has the same amount as Tetris, since it does have combos, but not really as interesting of options with blocks falling.  It is a descent Puzzle game, but not up there with the best.

Donkey Kong Junior is the perfect example of simplistic arcade design.  The game is 4 levels long, which repeat themselves getting harder and harder as you go.  Part of the game is figuring out the puzzle of moving across the level to get to the final destination.  The challenging part however is achieving this goal while avoiding all the enemies trying to stop you.

The game is definitely charming, though the graphics are OLD SCHOOL 8-bit Nintendo (you will either love that or hate that.  I am kinda digging it.)

The game just like Pac man, Galaga, and the original Donkey Kong is a perfect example of table top arcade design.  Simple yet elegant in its own way.

I got Konkey Kong Jr, it's harder than Donkey Kong for sure. Now I have to wait another week to see if any of my played-before-fav-games will be available.

I downloaded Solomon's Key.  It's great.

Is it great because you have fond memories of the game from when you were a child or is it great in general?

More specifically, I've never played Solomon's Key--would I (could I) enjoy it as much as someone who has?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I tried to give Nintendo my Money for some of their Digital Games last night and they wouldn't take my Credit Card.  So I instead ended up keeping Elite Beat Agents from Gamefly.

Gunstar Heroes is a simple action shooter that is fast and explosive. The main draw of the game was that you could play it co-op and beat it in roughly an hour and half. It's got some fun, crazy weapon combos (you get to have two weapon elements at all times, and there's eight or so combinations) that keep you on your toes. Each level has a crazy thing about it (an awesome sled-tunnel level, a cool level where the ground inclines down and you slide the whole way, another where you climb aboard an airship and fight a guy on a helicopter). The bosses were pretty sweet and some incorporated 3-D graphics of sorts. Pretty much, if you have a friend to play it with, it's TOTALLY worth 8 bucks. If not, ummm.....DON'T download a ROM and try it...

I think it'll work great with the GC controller, not sure if Wii Remote functionality will be included. Of course, the Classic Controller will likely be the best, but I'll give a full report once I've tried all the options.

Gunstar Heroes is one of those Awesome Genesis games that makes owning a Wii so much more awesome.

When does TJ and E come out? that one was cool too, not as cool as the second one but still cool.

Can anyone tell me about the TG16 games?  This is the system I really know nothing about (besides Bonk).  I especially would like to know if anyone knows about the 2 new ones coming tomorrow.  I think they are called Alien Crush and Dungeon Explorer.  Will I just be crushing aliens and exploring dungeons or is there more?

Dungeon explorer is kinda like one of those old school RPGs. It was also on Sega CD. Super Star Soldier is a cool verticle shooting game and Bonks adventure is  a platformer. Most of the good or decent TG16 stuff was ported to Sega CD and Genesis anyways.

Sorry, there's no confirmation that Dungeon Explorer is coming out per my eyes. Hudson's site only lists Alien Crush, and the last time they listed only one game (Super Star Soldier) that was the only title released on VC that Monday. I have no reason to believe that DE is coming to VC tomorree - someone prove me wrong please.

edit: IceCold, Super Mario Bros isn't even on the list for the end of the year! Do yourself a favor, download Gunstar Heroes and Solomon's Key. They're freaking sweet!

Kirby's Avalanche has a better story explaining why it ripped off Puyo Puyo. Nothing beats the Kirby taunts in that game.

I was about to click to buy Gunstar Heroes but then didn't because the point cost on the Genesis game is to high for a casual try. (Especially considering the hoops I have to go throw to give Nintendo my money, they won't take my credit card.)

honestly, considering how PS1 games cost 6 dollars to download on PS3, Nintendo really should lower the cost, and we should all boy-cot virtual console downloads until they do.

How about that, 3 weeks after the Wii launch.....VC games at launch are finally NOT considered "new"

I am definately getting Gunstar Heroes.  I am excited because I here it is a great classic game.

I am also curious about Alien Crush has anybody played this game?  Is it good?  I like Pinball games, so I wouldn't mind playing this.

Speaking of Pinball games does anybody remember the Pinball game on either the SMS or the Sega Genesis where you were a dinosaur?  Trying to save your dino girl friend?  It was a pretty amazing pinball game...possibly on of the best.

I'm really excited about Gunstar Heroes but I'm still too occupied with Twighlight Princess to waste my time on the VC.
That's my opinion, not yours.
