My wii list is full, there are a few greys too i.e. Rick Powers and ThePerm despite me sending a PM to them saying that I added them. I will be deleting some greys and non-greys as soon as people I know get their Wii.

EDIT: It seems that there is a character limit for nicknames. Also, if you attach a Mii, it doesn't send it to the person you added, does it?

You have to send it through the Mii channel. That's just the icon that the person will have in the friends list.
I think I made Berto a Goomba face until he sends me a proper Mii (or maybe he already did, I forget)
