Call of Duty: Grenade problem

is anyone else having a problem throwing grenades in COD 3? i press the button to throw one and the red timer doesnt show up...just the nunchuk thing going back and forth but i still cant even throw one.

help me out =[. its frustrating sometimes

Hold the button, then point the Wiimote and release...and make sure you have grenades.
