Wow, I didn't even notice that it dissapeared. WiiPlay has been right behind WiiSports for as long as I can remember. I wonder what happened. It couldn't be a remote shortage could it?

LOL, thats two weeks in a row that #10 dissapeared when I updated the list.
I'll have to keep an eye out for that next time. It is kinda hard though with the massive wall of text that the parser spits out.

One thing I forgot to mention about this last weeks sales, is that PS3 just crossed the 900,000 mark, and as soon as they sell about 80k more consoles, they will have reached PS2's first week sales #. At this rate, it will take PS3 8-10 weeks to reach that mark.

Not really.  I only have 2 weeks of numbers ran but the week before last it had a decrease of 79 units compared to the previous week, note the previous week was Golden Week, and this week it had a increase of 18 units over that week.

You can take a look at Fun with Numbers.  So yes the 360 is starting to go on the rise but it hasn't made up for the decrease of the week before.  When we get the new numbers that will be a good indication of popularity is rising.  If we still see an increase in sales over the week before we can blame golden week and start to air the theory that the 360 is gaining some steam.  I might run the other numbers but fora 360 games  to break the charts enough people must own one.

OTOH, Red Steel and Rayman prove that original IP sells better on the system than ports...at least really lousy ports.

I think it is a matter of time before they put alot of money in true next-gen games for the Wii, with the Wii dominating like it is, it could easily turn into the PS2 of this generation.

Nice to see RE4 up there: a third party Wii game! Probably won't have legs, but it would be amazing if this THIRD version of a game from 2004 could approach 100k units... yeah, wishful thinking, I know.

Also, Big Brain Academy not lighting any fires, just as I expected.
