Considering how a great deal of NWR members have a Wii and games, post here your favorite launch title as well as your least favorite one.

I only have zelda and wii sports, and love them both. My buddy though, got red steel. The controls made me hate the game with a passion. I refuse to ever put it in my wii ever again.

I've been playing Wii Sports, Zelda, Monkey Ball, and Trauma Center, and my least favorite has been Monkey Ball, with Zelda and Wii Sports tying for favorite.

I purchased Zelda, Excite Truck and Red Steel with my Wii. Order of enjoy going from favorite to least favorite

1: Zelda
2: Excite Truck / Wii Sports
3: Red Steel

Zelda is everything I could've hoped for it to be, and I love Wii Sports and Excite Truck, just flat out fun games to play. I am not nuts about Red Steel. I think the game needed a little bit more time in production. After doing aiming in the first person view with Zelda and then playing Red Steel, you can tell how poorly implemented pointer functionality was done. I'm praying for an update to the controls that actually makes them work properly.

Favorites: Wii Sports, Zelda, Red Steel and Tony Hawk. (I need to play more Zelda & Red Steel thou)

Least: Super Monkey Ball (it has a few decent mini games but over all its poorly made, I have officially stopped buying All Sega games after playing this and Sonic for the Xbox360.)

So far I've spent the most time with Super Monkey Ball and Trauma Center. Zelda is amazing, but since it's such a different experience than the rest of the games I have - I won't include it. I also won't include Wii-Sports because it's just a glorified tech-demo.

Trauma Center is definitely my favorite launch title.

Monkey Ball is great once you master the controls. A good half hour and you should be good.

Red Steel - I know it's been getting a lot of flak, but I've found it to be rather enjoyable. I'm hoping whatever control issues I've experienced will be corrected now that I've repositioned the sensor bar.

Excite Truck - I wouldn't call it my least favorite, because I definitely like the game (yeah, I know I said I wouldn't buy it - but I did). It's definitely the most shallow of the 5 games I picked-up.

closely followed by the Photo Channel

minigames in Monkeyball delight as well

Does the mii channel count as a launch game? No? Oh, in that case... Apart from Zelda, my favorite is Trauma Center, easily.

Least favorite? I'll have to play a bit more of both Monkey Ball and Red Steel before I can tell you which one I dislike more.

Favorite games: The photochannels ability to create puzzles out of pictures on my SD card, and Madden 07. Not to hate on WiiSports cuz I love that too, but if you think that game is fun, Madden must be the equivalent of Disney World for an 8 yr old. I've never had so much fun, what makes the game so much fun is that you (unfortunately almost) do every motion, with motion controls!!! The only time you use the buttons, (besides running) is in conjuction with motion controls! To me this is the definitive Wii game because of it's controls, if other games can mirror this, I will... I don't know, it would be too amazing.

Least favorite: None.

(P.S I dont have Zelda ::hides:: it's not my fault the store by me sold out of them is it? The manager told me people were coming in from other stores to buy it there, damn saturday parties!!! Good thing I pre-ordered, forgot about it, then got a call reminding me of it)

With Zelda being my least favorite (why will I buy it when there's delightful Super Fruit Fall oh dear fumble fumble).

Super Monkey Ball. I had relatively high hopes for the game, but it did not meet my expectations. The main game isn't horrible, but it still doesn't live up to the original.

I opened Excite Truck and ULtimate Alliance so far along with the WiiSports packin.

WiiSports rocks. ExciteTruck rocks. Ultimate Alliance? Eh I played it for an hour and it's ok. Not something I would recommend tho at this point.

I have Zelda:TP and I know that will quite good.

What's the deal with Rayman. It was pushed back, right? Some sites say it was a launch title, and some store sites have release dates of BEFORE the wii launch, which doesn't make sense.

No one's talking about it though, so I assume it was pushed back...unless it sold zero copies ;___; SO WHAT'S UP

S_B has a copy and told me a bit about the game, so its already out.

Yeah, I'm surprised no one is talking about Rayman, considering it was a hyped launch title.

i got zelda and call of duty. i have 7 hours clocked on zelda and 3 on COD, so i'll let the numbers speak for themselves. though i am very happy with both of them, COD is fun, it just doesn't hold a candle to zelda.

I haven't picked a favorite yet, I really haven't had enough time to play all my launch games to be a fair judge but having invested at least SOME time into all of them...

Tony Hawk Downhill Jam is amazingly failing to impress me in most regards. Also, "head" races are not as cool as they were hyped up to be.

I only bought two games so it is unfair to really be apart of this thread.

However, since we are all in the same boat.

My favorites would be:
Zelda, Wii Sports, Excite Truck and the Mii Channel.

My Least favorites would be:

Super Monkey Ball ( I own this, and had such high hopes. Some much potential wasted. Though I have found about 10 mini games worth playing...perhaps there are more. And I haven't touched the main game yet.)

Dragon Ball Z and for that matter all the crappy licensed ports that developers didn't spend any time on actually making a Wii game.

1. Zelda
2. Wii Sports
3. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
4. Red Steel

Love the first three, pretty disapointed in the last... probably going to have to really motivate myself to actually beat it.
