My thoughts:

1. Cool how it sort of looks like a Wii
2. Bad how you can't scroll through pictures... what's up with that?
3. NWR is a pretty cool looking abbreviation
4. NWR doesn't flow quite as well as PGC, and neither does the full name
5. Job medium-well done. An improvement, definitely, could be better though.

Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

While it does look snazzy, it does feel somewhat unfinished. I think it needs some blocks, similar to the old look. Everything white makes it look unfinished.

On the one hand, i think its great that the pgc creators are putting so much time into making the site better. On the other hand, i miss the layout of the old pgc website, aswell as the planet prefex. Planetwii would have gone really well, and it would have segmented this site from other nintendo websites, which would retain its old awesome image.

NWR just seems like any other nintendo site to me now. Not too special anymore sadly, cause i like this site. I suppose its the news layout that ill miss most, it was so much easier to determine which date the news was that you were reading in the old system's homepage, now i have no idea.

My main gripe though, is all the ads. At least make them into picture ads rather than flash, they significantly cut my download limit, and are distracting when im reading the site. So every time i come, i have to first zoom in on one non-moving spot on the flash ad, just so that i can concentrate while reading.

If this was a paid website, id understand abit more, but i thought this had voluntary staff. Obviuosly you still need revenue to pay for competitions, site design and maintenance, and transport/ media equipment to ninty events, but i wouldve thought alot less ads could proivide enough for that. Sorry if im wrong though, if this is a paid staff site then just disregard that previous part.

So yeh, all in all, pgc doesnt seem to have its old feel about it anymore, the feel that originally attracted me to your site in 2002. It doesn't mean i wont drop by and read news, it just means it wont be as frequent.

I eventually got used to the ads, lol. But they ARE jarring, especially when I'm viewing PGC in a public computer lab.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
