I'm on the side of the Wario defenders, here. I've seen the same complaints in several places regarding the game "not looking finished" or "cheesy" or "weak" - I just don't see it. What, exactly, is it supposed to look like?
I don't see a problem with the graphics at all. Actually, I think they're appropriate for Wario's world. I would expect his "world" to be the opposite of Mario's bright sunshiny existence. How can 20 seconds tell us that a level is uninspiring? We have no idea what the context is for what we saw on the OOT disk and we don't know what the goal of those levels are. Just looked like the big W was kickin a sack o' butt to me (with some nice effects to boot). By the way, screenshots and trailers of Pikmin and Animal Crossing look pretty uninspiring, too.
If graphics really were the end-all and be-all, none of us would have cracked open the OOT disk and played it through AGAIN........actually, we'd have all just bought an X-Box.
