Believe me when I say that I've been thinking about this for weeks, considering that we really don't have anything to hide. But I wanted to see if someone figured it out. But since S_B posted a picture of him being in Cap's room, giving away that he knowns him in real life, I decided to come out and say it.
And Kairon, this is the whole story:
I met S_B waaaaay back in 2001, when SSB Melee was about to come out. He was a mod at the IGN SSB forums and I was a regular member. He was extremely critical of Melee, which at the time, got on my nerves. He kept criticizing Melee to the point I thought he was a pompous, arrogant dick (and to this day, he still is...except he's now a LOVABLE pompous, arrogant dick
J/K Big guy!).
Then in early 2002, IGN decided to turn the forums Insider only, leaving us with no place to post at. A friend of mine suggested me a small website composed mainly of IGN SSB forum regulars. So I went there and to my dismay, S_B was a mod there. Since I was bored out of my mind, I decided to stay.
Cap was the creator of that website. I helped him write reviews, create pages and events and submit news and such. We then became good online friends. Later on, I learned that S_B and Cap were real life friends.
After spending some time there, I got to know S_B and learned that he wasn't that bad of a guy. He was smart, and later on I learned that some of his Melee claims were true and got to accept him for who he is. I then started talking to him via AIM and we were able to understand each other. We then became really good online friends.
In summer 2004, S_B offered me a plane ticket to come meet him and Cap in real life. And once we were able to see each other face to face, our destinies became intertwined forever...whether we liked it or not.
I rapidly became a regular in their circle of friends. Since we share similar interest playing games, watching movies, anime and such became far more fun than doing them on my own.
Since then, I come up every summer and spend some time with them.
I don't live with them though. I am from Puerto Rico (in case you failed to miss it on my signature links), and I am currently finishing my studies here. I did live with them briefly this past summer, where I helped them move in and such.
So that's the whole story. Me and S_B are a regular odd couple, him being the serious, grumpy, stick in the mud, guy and me being the slobby, carefree, fun loving , annoying, overly sensitive guy.
Oh and just in case, I didn't mention me being Cap's real life friend because I didn't know if he was cool with that.
