how do u make the avatar smaller i just tried to put one in and it ended up almost as wide as the page

You can resize it with an image editor. I can't recommend any free ones though, because I really can't think of any.

Well if it's as wide as the page, I doubt it would turn out very clear once you shrunk it down...Either way, find sometime perhaps a litttle bit smaller and I can help you...

MS Paint should work for image resizing just fine, though it's not really the greatest for actually doing anything else unless you know what you're doing.

Something about a computer and some buttons. I dunno. Ask the person that gave you that avatar. Bill it was, wasn't it?

You can use Microsoft GIF animator to make a series of pictures that create a small animation. Or large, if ye please. Murk, who ventures these boards on occassion, is quite good at GIF (and Flash, but that's not for avvys) animating.

When you convert to jpeg in MS Paint, it makes the avatar all blurry...I personally use Photoshop, but if you have nothing else than MS Paint is your only option...

You can get a great, free image program here. It's also really good for formatting/resizing avatars.

Well, he said that he had stayed away from PGC for a while to see what it was like, and that he was comfortable not posting here. He didn't seem angry anymore, it's just he was disappointed with the direction PGC is going and found no reason to post here.

We should just let it drop. And then SUPER should honor grey by making his name prohibited.

Another decent photoediting program can be found here. It takes a bit to get used to, and it will be a little unstable on Windows, but it's on par wth Photoshop. Welcome back guys.
