Who is getting a Wii but NOT ZELDA ??

This is the most hyped and anticipated launch game in the history of all console launches!!  

So if you are one of the few who aren't buying Zelda alongside the Wii, what is your reason?

It depends on if I have finished FFXII by the launch day. It might be too much taking on both games at once. That is also assuming I only buy one game at launch. If I get two then Zelda will be one of them on matter what.

Well, i don't intend to get Zelda with my Wii. And unlike the implied groups, i am neither under 12 or a communist. I just never developed a liking for the Zelda games.

I am getting Zelda on Tuesday... my Younger Brother's 20th Birthday.

Maybe he'll get his own Zelda too... he WILL have his own Wii at launch too...

I'm not getting Zelda, because I've never been a huge fan of the franchise. Don't get me wrong, it looks beautiful and I'm not going to scream, "Zelda stinks!" or anything. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay deep. Just not my kind of game. For launch, I'll be enjoying WiiSports (an awesome looking title, by the way) in addition to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Instead of a 4th launch title, I'll be picking up WiiPoints to enjoy a variety of the virtual console titles from the launch list including Ice Hockey, Pinball, Bomberman '93, Columns, SimCity and Super Mario 64.

For 2007, I'm looking forward to many great upcoming games like Sonic and the Secret Rings, Mario Party 8, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Big Brain Academy Wii and more. I'm also looking forward to upcoming Virtual Console titles like Super Mario RPG, Mario Kart 64, the many Kirby games I've never played before, and Super Smash Brothers among others.

I wasn't going to.  I wanted something multiplayer so I was getting RRR.  Then I was going to rent Zelda and most likely buy it from Gamefly.  But as I mentioned in another thread I have to get two games to quarentee a Wii on launch day.  So that plan got axed so I'm getting it.

No Zelda. And no, I don't count Wii Sports because I wouldn't have chosen to buy it.

I figure Nintendo already jacked me into buying one of their games against my will so I don't feel obligated to buy a second one.

Plus, Zelda is a game I'll only ever play through once. Why own it?

All of the other games have four player modes, and if I'm going to drop an extra $180 on controllers so as to allow my friends to play the console which is supposed to be "all about Wii", I'm going to get my money's worth.

But seriously, my roommate IS buying it.

Financially, it just doesn't make sense to buy two copies of a game for the same household, no on our budget.

Yep.  Having two toilets is a bad idea also.

And why have a second bed?  I don't need that.

And what is this I hear about people buying more than one pair of underwear?  I pimp that same pair out for 5 days on a row.  It's commando style on the weekend on laundry day, where I wash my one shirt, one pair of socks, and one pair of jeans.
