PC Magazine covers the Wii.
« on: November 03, 2006, 11:53:30 AM »
In the latest issue, marked Novemeber 21st, they have a few articles that mention the Wii and there is a Wii, with the other two consoles on the front. (It being in the foreground with the PS3.) Being a mainly PC magazine they touted the PS3 but said that people sould wait for more games and a price drop. They then said that the 360 sould be easy to find with more games. And as a ending note, oh there is the Wii were it hasn't recieved much hype but should be a blast to play.

The other two are the letter from the editor and a round up of the three consoles, again the other two get 2/3 pages while the Wii gets a one page overview written by a person who wrote a 360 book.

The editor said he has a 360 likes it better then a PC for a media center. But he is looking forward to the Wii as family-centeric gaming machine. He is "reserved" about the PS3 he wants to see how it turns out.

So its kind of a hot-and-cold review of the machine in the magazine.

That's ok.  360 and PS3 don't get hour long South Park episodes devoted to them.
I must find a way to use "burninate" more in my daily speech.

The only thing that really bothered me was the inaccuacies in the article. Don't they have Gamespot they could do some research. (One the browser is built in) I'm just happy the editor said that he is buying the Wii this year and isn't sold on the PS3.
