WiiPoint Card
« on: October 30, 2006, 02:20:57 PM »
IGN has and article with pictures

I"m going to say it.  This looks lame compared to the Wii Target gift card.  I'm hoping that they start making them more like collector cards.  With Mario, Zelda, Metriod, The Hamburger Stacking guy, etc.  A nice picture and some info on the back.

Nope just the hearsay that we have of 5000 and 2000. I did a quick search on the conversion rate and this popped up. lol!

So any word on buying Wii points with credit cards directly through the Wii like I believe they can in Japan? Because a lot of us that live anywhere outside the continental US will get price gouged and pay like $25, or more, for a $20 card.

I still want to know if we are gonna have the freaking free classic controller with 5000 point card deal like they do in Japan.  :-/

Well if you have access to a debit or credit card you don't need to bother with those.

And the conversion rate for the US is one point per penny. (From one of IGN's many "shows".)

Are you sure?

Reggie, himself, said 2000 points for $20 at the event where they unveild the launch date, price, and configuration info for Wii.
