While playing around with various settings and such, I've discovered that the MAC address of my DS and the MAC address of my GCN start out very similar - both with     00:09:bf.  Now, I'm assuming that the MAC address tells me at least something about the company who made the product with the MAC address (which, of course, is Nintendo in this case).  So what's something cool/useful that I can do with the MAC address?  Is there a tool somewhere online that anyone knows that I can look it up with?

The first 3 octets of the MAC address form the OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier).  The remainder of the address is up to the company discression on how to partition and allocate.  In theory they should avoid replication, although there are no guarantees.

Neat-o.  Now, the MAC Address of my "GameCube" is really the MAC Address of the Broadband Adapter I have plugged into it, right?  So, if I were to swap in my other Broadband Adapter or even my dial-up modem, they'd each have their own MAC Address, right (probably starting with 0009BF)?
