And this is why I won't be sending out invitations for my next game.
C'mon now. You have to give some bonus points for actually having the guts to send an invite to Jonnyboy. Not to mention Ian Sane, who I really think would have liked to join. That's what killed me was the fact that he seemed on this bubble and intrigued just enough but he pulled back knowing the obsession the game can cause. And what's worse is I have to support his reasoning too. I had hoped please let me in, please would join. He showed up just last Sunday so I sent him a pm but he hasn't appeared since then.
The only thing I am saddened about was that I was really hoping we could get everyone who had played mafia before, whether regular or just a few editions here and there signed up. This is the 10th edition! Let's have a big party and celebrate it. Plus, it would make the victory that much sweeter. Unfortunately, it appears this will not happen now. Still, I hope. I hope. People say that they'd be too busy at the start of the game to play. Well, if there's a whole lot of people playing, then maybe you can just slide by a little bit at the start. I guess I should invite Bloodworth.
Also, like F-Zero, if we get to that number of players I'm looking for, (31), there will be a new role unlocked! Plus, this means it will be the biggest mafia ever. (Yes, I'm going to try to break Bill's record.) Best way to celebrate the our tenth edition!
There is also a slight problem. It appears I may be away from Oct. 6 - 8. It bugs me so much because for the longest time, everything was fine. My schedule was clear. And now, I've had something sprung upon me that it doesn't appear I can get out of and I'll be out of town for a those days and probably won't have access to the internet, meaning the game would have to be paused for this time. So, would this pose a problem to anyone? I could probably do what Bill did and start a day and just leave it open over this time.
