Sorry for the double post - this has to do with Wal-Mart as well. Supposedly, if you print out this barcode and take it to the store, they will be able to tell you how many Wiis they will be getting for launch.

Also, they have a Buyer's Guide - looks quite good..

That'ta Boy Reggie.

$249.24 lol.

This thing rocks.  I know all the marketing information in it but I like the little trivia they keep giving.  Sort of like Rayman debut on the Jaguar.

I like the spiel with Reggie at the end.  If I can find one I can just hand my friends that to answer some of their questions.

Only for Canadians
FutureShop Wii accessories. The prices are just as expected.
I only have one gripe with FutureShop, they still have Madden (Wii) at $69.99 and I would really like to get this game, I guess I'm going to have to wait until they drop the price which should be right around when I finish TP.

I dunno.. I think you'll still be able to get Madden at $60, if not at Future Shop..

I'd sure like it if Amazon and Gamestop.com weren't so full of sh!t.

I thought amazon was going to do more preorders once they figured out how many they were going to get?

Yeah, they're still saying that. I don't know about you guys, but you'd think they'd know by two weeks before launch.

What's stopping you guys from pre-ordering from an online website that (place in the queue depending) guarantee on the day delivery by a certain time?

Yes. I must ask again.

I am in the UK so excuse my bias, but i would expect this to be available in america. This does not guarantee a console on your door, but depending on when you pre-ordered it would make it more likely to acquire one. My order has been down since late september.

Play.com, where i pre-ordered mine, they will send the item Special Delivery which guarantees before 12pm. I'm playing on the expectation that i should definitely get one if i have pre-ordered 3 months early.

Game.co.uk is another place that does it. Orders over £100 get next day delivery.

Play definitely posts items out early to arrive on release date, and i believe Game does too.

My problems with that plan are:

1. waiting
2. added costs (shipping and possibly some taxes if the product has to come from the U.S.)
3. in most cases it seems like places have already done preorders and aren't taking anymore (Walmart and Amazon)
4. in the rest of the cases it seems like they just aren't doing preorders (Future Shop and Best Buy)

But that's a good back up plan if I can't find one at all.  I doubt that's going to happen though.
That's my opinion, not yours.

If it was, we would've already done it, and I wouldn't be bitching about Gamestop.com and Amazon.
