familyvideo.com only charges 99 cents for plain 'ol 4-6 day shipping... but then again, Familyvideo hasn't been able to ship my copy of Endless Ocean yet. It's strange, I usually get my games from them within a week of release date.

thanks, but that isn't accesible to me. Sometimes I forget to mention I live around here and makes the shipping issue more difficult. However I think good old Amazon will be sufficient. I'll give it a try since apparently the game won't arrive here until late february.

edit: Actually good old amazon is not good enough, argh! I'll look elsewhere.

Also, you should download and play Pokemon Snap because is awesome.

Ok, actually, I think the game is probably not for everyone, but I sure loved it!

I... keep forgetting about that. I'm sorry. Does PlayAsia ship to you?

Yeah so I got this game. Playing it a bit. It's interesting, waiting for it to grab me (or lull me, whichever it needs to be). My friend code is in the appropriate forum.

Apparently they do! now to wait for my copy. Even with the shipping prices and all is still cheaper than getting the game directly here

I played the game for close 5 hrs last night and I LOVE it. Easily one of my favorite Wii games, and the visuals ASTOUNDING in areas, bordering on gorgeous. My favorite area to explore so far is a tie between the Abyss (Complete with some of my favorite "giants of the sea" and the ancient ruins. The game is great.

I went on a dive with Evan tonight, the communication leaves a little to be desired, but it's not like you can talk underwater

The dive with Shy was both neat and disappointing: since I just showed up at Shy's boat unannounced, we had no plan. Me being inexperienced, I was hoping Shy would take the lead. He did, and we swam through some stuff, but we had no idea WHAT to do since there are no real objectives in this game. It really seems like it would work better if the two players are going to the same new area together and exploring it gradually. I could imagine the Mermaid Caves being awesome with two people, as the limited communication would work ("Look at this!" "OK." "Wait!" "Follow me."). For just a "drop in, let's swim hoser" type situation, it is not really workable.

Lol, it was funny because when Evan first showed up, I thought he was an NPC. Also, I don't think the fish I discovered on the co-op dive registered because I had to redetect them.

Well I found a piece of the temple we were in, and I still have it. Dunno about any of the fish, I think since I was at your boat I was seeing the names of fish I hadn't touched yet.

I still haven't figured out how to access the passageways that have the current that kicks you out.

I may be wrong but besides that one instance where you break open the top of a building the currents are more like puzzles where you use currents to take you to different rooms.

Went on a dive with Blood, and yeah, none of the fish I saw were saved, neither were any of the map bits I uncovered. LAME.

Went on a dive with Michael Flynn today. Two words: UNDERWATER PEN.

I'd like to believe we really do live in a world where I am an amateur marine biologist who becomes wildly popular for petting lots of fish, and is occasionally visited via jetski by friends who go on dives with me and make fun of the animals. I also would like to believe that becoming a marine biologist does not make it wrong for me to write "shlt yeah" next to a manatee.

The shape on the right is Flynn's trace of the Man-t, underneath is the first ever underwater "lol." The shape up above is Flynn himself.

I too have discovered the use of the pen for communicating, but my ink always runs out quickly.

I went for a dive with someone named Justin today, but as far as I know, I have no Justin's on my EO friend list. Such are the mysteries of Manoi Lai.

What quadrant is the shipwreck in? I know I seen it before but I'm not sure where!

The shipwreck moves around.  Once you get all of the compass pieces it'll give you coordinates it might be at.

Anyhoo I just beat the main "story" of the game the other day.  Now I just get to kick back and search for treasure.

"Beat" the game! Final fish is cool, still a lot of stuff to find and unlock

Best value at $30 on the Wii so far. This is a hard game to categorize. It's a sandbox game like GTA, but plays so different from any other sandbox game. I think the closest equivalent to this game is Animal Crossing.

as always late to the party. Well play asia wasn't actually good at all, their annoying payment verification forced me to desist in the attempt. I had to wait to get it here and I finally did! also, I nominate the whale graveyard as the scariest videogame level, the music didn't help no matter how peaceful.

I've never played this game, but I got it for my sister as a gift a few days ago, and spent a couple of hours watching her play it.  Considering the amount of time she's put into it, I can't help but feel that it's something very special.  There's an untapped audience out there subconciously begging for games with no real conflict in them.  Rarely will you encounter a game as wholly benevolent as this title.
