Topic: Possible Launch Date?

Hi everyone, I am new to the forums but have been lurking for a while now.  I thought I'd join up today after going to my local Gamestop to put a reserve on the new Zelda for Wii.  Without even asking, he told me that they should be out on November 1st.  Correct me if I am wrong (which I probably am) but were we not told that Zelda was coming out the same day as the Wii?  If so, then it looks very probable that the Wii will come out that date or soon after.

Welcome!  This comment would probably be better in the Wii Launch Date thread...you might know from lurking that we're kind of anal about keeping the number of threads down around here.

But for the sake of argument, I wouldn't believe any date that a retailer gives you until Nintendo confirms it.  Especially when it's the 1st of the month, that sounds like a typical "made up" date...it's not even a Tuesday or a Sunday, which are the usual days for new game and new system launches from Nintendo.
