Final Fantasy CC DS?

Ya know what bugged me and still does?  The fact that THIS trailer shown at E3 2006

is supposedly FINAL FANTASY III yet the characters, gameplay all look like Crystal Chronicles?  Could this be a slip up and actually be first footage of the otherwise known unrevealed game?

FF3? or CCDS

Hasn't FF:CC for the DS already been announced? I think it has.

This vid was probably just mislabeled.

Yeah they announced this WAY long ago like at the beginning of the Ds s life but no screens videos or even words have been released about the game.  All we know is that it will be using Wifi and its also been rumored to connect to its Wii counterpart. . .

Yeah, that definitely doesn't look like Final Fantasy III, I guess it was mislabelled.

This was confirmed to be mislabeled since right after the conference!

So yeah, I expect this game to release at the same time as the Wii version...

Which is... we don't know. Square said that FF:CC Wii would be a launch title ages ago, but I'm almost resigned to the idea that it won't be.

You know when I watched the snippets for the Wii version they have shown.  I honestly think they might have ditched the whole Miasm thing and actually decided to make FF:CC into the Epic story it should have been.  If it takes place after the original it would make sense by my understanding.

Actually I am an insomniac I get an average of 3-4 hours a night if I am lucky so that isnt so far off based.  You make me sound like I have been analyzing the video clip since E3.  I am a final fantasy fan plain and simple.  One day I was looking at some videos for FFIII for the ds and noticed that clip there and decided to give it another look.  I was not a fan of CC all that much but that was because it was so damn hard to convince my friends to sit down with 4 gbas 4 cords and play the damn game with me.  At least with the Ds and Wii versions I am getting promised Wifi so I don't have to bother with getting all of my friends over to one house and sit down.  Plus both versions dont require everyone having extra pieces of hardware to play.  So I do not see how it makes me much more of a fanboy than anyone else in this forum.  And hell if you say more of a fanboy than some people Ill take that as a compliment .

It sort of got brushed aside with all the much bigger name titles coming out, but Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates was announced at SE's pre-E3 conference. EBgames is still taking pre-orders for it with a 10/1/06 release date, but since we've heard essentially nothing about it since E3 I would assume it's been pushed back.

I've heard the game is pretty short, but fun...Which automatically makes it better than the GC one... =)
