Funhouse Refugee Thread
« on: August 24, 2006, 10:56:32 AM »
This is the Funhouse Refugee thread.  Until things go back to normal, anything you want to post in the Funhouse should be posted in this thread.  Wandering doesn't seem to have mod privileges outside of the Funhouse.  Let’s all pray it stays that way.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

*wonders why Vudu still has the troll avatar if he feels this way*

Anyway the whole thing seems like an overboard April Fools joke, but does anyone actually think it's anything more than prank?

In spirit of the old funhouse, though, here is an intoxicated Britney Spears in all her clueless and scary glory:

I'm afraid that wandering will ban me if I change it.

I'm still somewhat amused by it, but if it lasts too long I'll be annoyed.  I have to wonder what wandering's next obsession will be.  He apparently got tired of banning already, and he'll probably tire of locking threads soon enough.  What other mod powers are there for him to abuse during his time in the sun?

I actually prefer the locking for the time being over ThePerm's spamfest that was going on in there before it happend, where he was bumbing up every topic he could... someone needs to tell him that others can't see his post count.

Lots.  He can edit posts, unlock old posts, unban old forum members, change avatars, change titles, change passwords, add/delete filtered words, etc.  The little fellow will sleep well tonight.

Yep, Fusetalk is different from other boards in that moderators pretty much are given the keys to do anything.  Much different from other formats like phpbb where only Admins can modify user profiles (including bans/unbans).

Anyone want to start an underground resistance?

Are you sure?

Sorry, what was that? I thought you said "start an underground resistance" but that would be silly because underground resistancescesces happen in secret, so that no rulers happen to listen in and then punish those who dare to defy them.

Welll that was fun.

But thank god it's over.

I'm not banned, not in charge of the funhouse, and hated by everyone. Things are just how they should be.

I don't hate you at all, Wandering!  These squares just don't get forum performance art.
