I've only played in one Smash Tournament. It had about 250 people and I made it to the 5th round I believe...

Every other person told me I sucked for playing top tier...

C-sticking is for cherry picking Marth seagulls who win time games by waiting until two superior players have run each other up on damage and then C-smash them mid fight.

The sad part is, either you mercilessly skull-f*ck the Marth player or they stand a decent chance of winning.

Who were you playing as?

I can't blame you: Marth's forward smash is not only one of the quickest (in terms of power, reach and area: it can hit people above and BEHIND him) in the game but it's also the best ledge guarding smash because you can't counter attack his sword.
