What is Considered "Needless Animation
« on: July 31, 2006, 04:07:25 PM »
I have two ideas that both involve animation for Pales "Author Icon" if I win the bet.  I just want to keep it in the forums rules.  I can PM you a little more information if you want.  (As long as you don't share it around it ruin the whole thing.)
Need a Personal NonCitizen-Magical-Elf-Boy-Child-Game-Abused-King-Kratos-Play-Thing Crimm Unmaker-of-Worlds-Hunter-Of-Boxes
so, I don't have to edit as Much.

Nothing that causes seizures.  I wanted to kill Dasmos for a week back in March.  Anything else is fine as long as it's under the 20k file size limit.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Actually, I'm referring to these.

I'm pretty sure Rick Powers wrote that bit in so who cares, go nuts as long as it's not over the size limits

Weren't you going to ban Jonny for breaking the pixel size limit? Now you're endorsing the breaking of Rick's animation rule.

And Jonny's avatar is 1/10th the KB size of the Dasmos examples mentioned above.

Dasmos' old avatar didn't break the size limit... it just caused seizures.

Be sure to IP ban him; he seems like the kind of guy who would create another username and then spam the forums.

Well, I think we can all agree that Ryan W's avatar features much needed animation.

When making an animated avatar, it's best, I think, to make the animation longer than a second long.
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon
