You have a stand up?

I had a friend who was doing standup at the tempe improv and a few other places in phoenix, in Yuma he got a job as the host of a comedy club over there. I was thinking, if he's the host I could get some connections into the comic world, maybe I could convert my script into a standup, the format isn't all that different... he didn't stick with it.

Good luck with that, I hope we get the exclusive video of the 1st on stage performance posted in Hilarious Youtube Videos thread if it doesn't get one made specifically for it.

Nah it definately deserves its own thread. After all, it can very well be a small shrine here on the forums celebrating the birth of Perms succesful standup career! A place where we can all say we knew him when...

Thread name? Perm's Stand-up Debut (Formely "I have terrible social skills")

EASYCURE: I remember thinking(don't ask me why) this was a blond haired, blue eyed, chiseled athlete. Like he looked like Seigfried before he became Nightmare.

I think it all depends on if the stand up is good enough for us to laugh with him, or so bad that we end up laughing at him.

I find the best stand ups are always comparisons or stories. If you have the timing to tell both, then your money.

Well maybe not, but I'd shoot higher then making us laugh. I mean...looking around this board, it's seems like it's not very hard to make us laugh.

To us it might not matter, but to him it might be very important.
