Pilotwings!?

At DICE, Why hasn't anyone asked Miyamoto if he's working on Pilotwings for the GameCube?

As far as I can remember there hasn't been any thing about Pilotwings.

Also, nobody asked about Mario Kart for the GameCube!

Mario kart is already rumored to be shown at E3
I dont think many people would buy a new pilotwings, flying games is not very popular these days compared with 3-4 years ago, proberly the fact that most were crap, made that happen

I would love a good flight simulator for the cube (or any console for that matter).
I have been flying single engine planes for 10 years now and always love the chance to fly the commercial jets (even if it is a simulator)

One of my favorite games for the Super Nintendo was Pilotwings.  I love Pilotwings of the N64 even more.  It was the first time in a game where I felt free.  It was fun just flying around as the birdman or with the rocketpack.  I would love to see another Pilotwings!

A new pilotwings would be great but I wouldn't count on it.  Somehow I think if we haven't heard even a single rumor about one yet, it won't happen.  Sequels to larger franchises seem to be at least rumored about early on in a consoles life.

When the GameCube was launched there were rumors bubbling about possibly bringing Pilotwings to the GCN.  However, since then, the majority of it has died down.  I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo went either way with this.  It did sell well on SNES and N64, but we have to ask ourself if it is the same type of market.  I would personally love to see this game headed to GCN, but as of right now, Nintendo hasn't made any comments.

I found Pilotwings wierd but never played it longer than 5 min. Never got the point of the game.

I really want Starfox Armada, that game promises multi fun, I loved playing SF64 4p multi with my siblings. We played infinite hours.
Now that with really awesome graphics, *drool*.

I love those multi games from Nintendo like Mario Kart, Tennis, Smash Brothers, Starfox, F-Zero etc

Actually, I had a deep love for Piotwings 64. Like, Stewpot, I had a scary amount of fun just flying around the (at the time) giant landscapes, ducking under bridges, you know... All that fancy-pants stuff.
I'd love to see a new one, but for now, Sky Oddessy on PS2 will do.

This is one of the few Nintendo games I never had any love for.  I always hated the SNES version (I'm sorry!) and the N64 version was beautiful, but it never grabbed me and made me want to keep playing no matter how hard I tried.  And oh I tried.

I'd love to see another go at it to try and connect with it again, but I admit I'm not necessarily pining for it.
