Book of Enoch:  Chapter 7

1It happened after the sons of men had multiplied in those days, that daughters were born to them, elegant and beautiful.

2And when the angels, (3) the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamoured of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children.

3Then their leader Samyaza said to them; I fear that you may perhaps be indisposed to the performance of this enterprise;

4And that I alone shall suffer for so grievous a crime.

5But they answered him and said; We all swear;

6And bind ourselves by mutual execrations, that we will not change our intention, but execute our projected undertaking.

7Then they swore all together, and all bound themselves by mutual execrations. Their whole number was two hundred, who descended upon Ardis, (4) which is the top of mount Armon.

10Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.

11And the women conceiving brought forth giants, (7)

12Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;

13When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;

14And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, (8) and to drink their blood.

Chapter 8

1Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered.

2Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways.

3Amazarak taught all the sorcerers, and dividers of roots:

4Armers taught the solution of sorcery;

5Barkayal taught the observers of the stars, (9)

Chapter 9

1Then Michael and Gabriel, Raphael, Suryal, and Uriel, looked down from heaven, and saw the quantity of blood which was shed on earth, and all the iniquity which was done upon it, and said one to another, It is the voice of their cries;

2The earth deprived of her children has cried even to the gate of heaven.

3And now to you, O you holy one of heaven, the souls of men complain, saying, Obtain Justice for us with (10) the Most High. Then they said to their Lord, the King, You are Lord of lords, God of gods, King of kings. The throne of your glory is for ever and ever, and for ever and ever is your name sanctified and glorified. You are blessed and glorified.

(10) Obtain justice for us with. Literally, "Bring judgment to us from." (Richard Laurence, ed. and trans., The Book of Enoch the Prophet [London: Kegan Paul, Trench & Co., 1883], p. 9).

4You have made all things; you possess power over all things; and all things are open and manifest before you. You behold all things, and nothing can be concealed from you.

5You have seen what Azazyel has done, how he has taught every species of iniquity upon earth, and has disclosed to the world all the secret things which are done in the heavens.

6Samyaza also has taught sorcery, to whom you have given authority over those who are associated with him. They have gone together to the daughters of men; have lain with them; have become polluted;

7And have discovered crimes (11) to them.

(11) Discovered crimes. Or, "revealed these sins" (Charles, p. 70).

8The women likewise have brought forth giants.

9Thus has the whole earth been filled with blood and with iniquity.

10And now behold the souls of those who are dead, cry out.

11And complain even to the gate of heaven.

12Their groaning ascends; nor can they escape from the unrighteousness which is committed on earth. You know all things, before they exist.

13You know these things, and what has been done by them; yet you do not speak to us.

14What on account of these things ought we to do to them?

Chapter 10

1Then the Most High, the Great and Holy One spoke,

2And sent Arsayalalyur (12) to the son of Lamech,

(12) Arsayalalyur. Here one Greek text reads "Uriel."

3Saying, Say to him in my name, Conceal yourself.

4Then explain to him the consummation which is about to take place; for all the earth shall perish; the waters of a deluge shall come over the whole earth, and all things which are in it shall be destroyed.

5And now teach him how he may escape, and how his seed may remain in all the earth.

the giants drew worship as gods thus the judgement of the flood

The flood story is found in many cultures around the world; even the American Indians have stories of a flood and a Noah character.

Always these aliens have very terrestrial forms, and worst, humanoid forms, four apendix similar to arms and legs, two eyes, etc, which is near impossible, even if life in other planets follow the same evolutionary path that life follows here, even if they also depend on liquid water and are carbon based, the chances of them looking like anything remotely earth-y is very smalll. And those are big ifs, they only life we know is carbon-based/water-dependant but that doesn't mean thats absolutely necesary for life to appear, at least it doesn't rule out other posible conditions. An alien life form is practically impossible for us to imagine.

"Always these aliens have very terrestrial forms, and worst, humanoid forms, four apendix similar to arms and legs, two eyes, etc, which is near impossible, even if life in other planets follow the same evolutionary path that life follows here"

Many people these days are speculating, "aliens" may not exactly be so extraterrestrial.  That is kind of why I titled the thread the way I did; it is more plausible that these sentients, if they do exist, are the decendents of civilizations that have come before us (we have a very limited view of history).  Some believe there are several species including the popular greys and David Icke's Annanuki (human hybrid reptilians, most likely evolved from dinosaurs if anything, who can transform their skin to appear human).  The leaders of the world even today decended from royal bloodlines of the past, Icke uses this as proof that world leaders are a part of a "holy bloodline," thus all the inbreeding of royal families in the past and the continued rule of their decendents; we're their slaves.

Even more sickening, the motivation for all the wars in the middle east are said to be over alien technologies of some kind.  People have claimed that the true motivations for the current War in Iraq are that Saddam found a UFO that crashed there thousands of years ago (so it actually goes beyond George Bush having a vendetta).  The idea is that where there is smoke, there is the gods' fire.

Considering the theory that aliens may not be so "alien" reminds me of USOs (Unidentified Submerged Objects)...Because so many sightings have taken place over water (including sightings of craft entering and leaving the water) it's theorized that some "aliens" have existed in large bodies of waters for longer than our species has even existed...

I think it's also relevant to note that we know more of outer space than our own oceans...Interesting stuff, to say the least...

A long time ago giants lived on the earth, and they were so strong they were not afraid of anything. Millions of sightings, Bill?  Try thousands at most.  More people have seen Elvis.

And to the guys that think Aliens wouldn't have limbs or whatever, I disagree whole-heartedly.  The reason we humans and other animals have limbs to begin with is bcause of Gravity, and I predispose that any life-form that could land here and withstand our gravity must come from a planet with similar circumstances in regard.  Therefore, they must have limbs.  Not necessarily 2, but limbs nontheless.

And besides... what shapes are left after limbs?  Blobs?  Clouds of Gas?

Its not just limbs, is a humanoid or animal shape in every alien seen, which is just non-sense. Extraterrestrial life forms may have limbs of course, but thats just one possibility among many, many others. They could be huge, and I mean kilometers huge, or microscopic, and I don't see why they couldnt be intangible, like you said, made of gas, theres so little we know about our universe, we can't rule out any possibility. And why they have to be physical? they could be just pure energy, it sounds crazy but we have no proof that pure energy conscious and intelligent beings can't exist, and is a pretty big universe out there, the possibilities are trully endless.

When it comes to what aliens might look like, I'm reminded of the first time human eyes were set on deep sea creatures. When descriptions were relayed back, the people on the other end thought such creatures couldn't possibly exist. So, I tend to think that, when it comes to aliens, if we ever find them, they won't be anything like anything we could have imagined.

There is a belief that what seperates us from the rest of the animals is the spark of divinity in us all and if you isolate that which makes us "human," closer to god than the rest of the world, then you would have the power to elevate other animals to humanities level.  It's kind of the whole premise behind The Island of Dr. Moreau (who's intention was to isolate the divinity in order to cut out the animal, the demonic).

There is a great difference between humanoid and man in a suit.  The stranded alien pictures I posted originally show a creature whose body is humanoid, but the proportions are not human (like you would see in Star Wars or Star Trek).  The arms are small for starters.  You see, proportions can make something that fullfills the five extremity law still quite alien looking.  I've taken figure drawing classes and I can tell you if your proportions are off, it will look freakish, it will not look human, it may not even look like a primate.

But anyways, David Icke would say that they are alien in origin (even if it were aliens that used their DNA to transform dinosaurs), it's going to sound like the plot for Halo 3, but people claim that spark I was talking about makes us brothers to otherwise alien slave races throughout the galaxy on other planets.  That which makes us human is found in other creatures on other planets (so are they human?).  Icke would suggest that there is a type of stargate located in the holy land (Israel), and that is the motivation the pervasive ludicrous logic of the middle east.  Why does anyone care about a bunch of dry desert enough to kill each other over it.  I don't care what religion you belong to, follow your doctrines; I'm pretty sure they all have a story about a law being carved into stone by the same god they all worship which said, thou shall not kill.  You don't kill the earth and you don't kill people.

My theory on aliens is pretty simple.  Intelligent life may exist elsewhere but there are two factors that would greatly limit their ability to visit us.

1. These aliens may not have the same requirements to live as we do.  We need oxygen and water plus there are all sorts of other factors that affect us like how far Earth is from the sun and Earth's gravity.  Aliens may live on another planet but with different tempertures and gravity and thus would be designed to live in those conditions.  They might not be able to survive on Earth because of the different environment.  Hell just on Earth alone there are species of animals conditioned to certain environments that would have difficulty living somewhere else.  Camels would be screwed in the Artic and polar bears would be screwed in the desert.  Aliens might land on Earth and immediately break their legs because the gravity is stronger than they're designed for.

2. Assuming all life requires the same conditions as life on Earth does I figure aliens would live so ridiculously far away that it would be near impossible for them to get here.  We know that no other planets in our solar system could have life as we know it and those planets are ridiculously far away to begin with.  To make it here to Earth from outside our solar system would require incredibly advanced technology and a lot of time unless we're wrong that nothing is faster than light.

I think Bigfoot is more likely to be real since at least that would be some animal species that just hasn't been discovered yet.  But I am open to the idea that aliens could exist.  I just need better evidence than most of the flimsy stuff UFO sightings have uncovered.  I do think there is weird stuff that goes on that we don't know how to explain like ghosts and such.

OTOH, of course there are the gods themselves that may be interpreted as alien forces.
