... at least according to my contact at EB games in Australia (he is the manager and really knows his stuff). The lucky @#$%

had the pleasure of playing it in person, Nintendo Australia put on a demo last week? for local games people.
His comment was the controllers TOOOO smart, it should be illegal for controllers to be that smart. He played Red Steel demo and liked the controls, he loves FPS so this is very positive.
I queried him that it got bad review at E3 on the control side, but he just thinks it will take people used to old style control just a bit of time to get used to it, then they will love it. He commented that the graphics were not X360 standard but we already knew that. Overall he loved the controller.
Nintendo must also be doing something different with retail, because he commented that Nintendo lost he plot in Australia last generation but things are now changing. Perhaps this is due to Nintendo finally advertising here (Train your Brain adds flood our TVs).
Anyhow, I have much confidence in his opinion so it looks very promising.
Toys R' Us are still quoting early November for Wii release, and if Nintendo are demo'ing it here now at least it shouldnt be any latter than early November. So probably early to Mid October for USA.
