Dudes. Just call me the thread resurrectah (this is my gangsta name anyways, what a coincidence!).

Who's doing the next mafia game? Has someone called dibs* on it yet?

Would a Halloween mafia game be too soon and take place when everyone's too busy? I was just thinking it'd be cool to do an "It's the Great Pumpkin (Mafia), Charlie Brown" game for Halloween. I'd host.

*The word "dibs" sounds a lot like "nibs," and makes me want some now. And speaking of words that sound like other words, don't even try to say nickmitch's name** when you're all clogged up in the nosal area. At least, if you don't want to offend anyone around you.

**In case you were wondering, I DO regularly say forum members' names aloud in my cubicle at work. Loudly. It's how I roll.

Stevey and thatguy were both talking about doing the next game.

I think Stevey was leaning towards waiting until Mafia 30 because XXX is better suited for HAWTNESS MAFIA.

thatguy's hosted quite a few games already, so as far as I'm concerned you can cut in line.

Personally, I want to do another Mario Kart Mafia type game...because that was a fun Mafia game. But...I will probably call it something else.

I've been hesitant to start one because I've seen a few others wanting to host. If nothing comes up by Saturday, I'll probably make a sign-up thread then. If someone else posts before then, they're free to host, clearly.

Well, thatguy, if you don't mind, I'll try to work up the design and balance things out over the next few days, then post sign-ups maybe Thursday or Friday, and run through the weekend, starting Sunday night. I've never hosted before, but I have some ideas.

Would this be too soon for people? I know the last game just ended and all... but it's a Halloween theme, guys! It'll be fun. Plus, Linus's security blanket would be its own character (!). Curious? I'll write some info up later on today or tomorrow, so long as people aren't "mafia'd out" and are up for a new game so soon.

Hmm... maybe I'll do one of those popular mafia interest threads. Yes, that'll do nicely.

Actually, thatguy has only hosted one mafia. If anyone should step aside from hosting mafia, it is me. But I won't. Sign-ups begin right now for my Valentine's Day mafia. That's perfect. This time, the winner of the game must send me a prize. Ha ha. Hey, where are you all going?

Anyways, go for it. I'm going to do my part and see if I can talk Ian Sane into joining it. He seemed to be seriously considering joining the Sonic game so let's see if I can finally accomplish the impossible and get him to play.

Sorry, it's too late to start a game now. If you do, it's going to run into Christmas and participation will drop off dramatically. If you wanted to start a game before the end of the year you should have done so a week ago.

I say wait until after the new year.
