If this isn't the single most demented game to ever come out of Nintendo, I will be very upset.

Tingle is a very polarizing character. There are very few people that don't completely love or hate the... interesting Zelda character. Anyway, the latest issue of Famitsu has finally revealed some of the details behind the Tingle RPG, entitled " Mogitate Tingle no Barairo Rupee Land" which translates to "Freshly-picked Tingle’s Pink-coloured Rupee Land." If the title and Famitsu article are anything to go on, this game is going to be quite interesting.

I guess I must be one of the few, the proud, the Tingle apathists. I don't hate him, but I wouldn't care if he disappeared, either. This game could very well make me a Tingle ...enthusiast if it's quirky, fun, and localized. I suppose now we'll at least find out why he thinks he's a fairy.

Wow, I never thought I'd really want a game where you play a middle-aged fairy of questionable intentions who follows a sensei who's... who's a giant rupee, but... well, here I am.

Is that translation correct? The "Happy" seems to have gone AWOL.

I don't mind Tingle but I wonder why they've made him a stock character for the series, it just doesn't make sense.

The most appropriate thing I've ever seen regarding Tingle was Homsar in a Tingle costume.

This has potential to be the best game of all time. Of course it'll be localised, Nintendo doesn't listen to Matt IGN.

As I said before, any game where you can control Tingle will be the greatest game ever made.

Hey those shots show what Tingle looks like outside of his suit!

I thought Tingle was kinda funny as a supporting character in Majora's Mask. That game has tons of weirdos living in Terminia and as a one shot guy he's fine. I don't like him much at all though as a significant character. He's got a sort of Scrabby Doo vibe of being this new character that no one likes yet gets shoved down our throats regardless. It doesn't help that his whole existence in Wind Waker is entirely for an annoying fetch quest to add play time to a rushed game.

It's a Zelda spinoff, I don't think Nintendo will make it Japan-only.

Who published Cubivore? It might have been Atlus, definitely not Nintendo anyway.
It might also be a smart idea to publish Mother 3 in North America.

Hahahahaha YES! I pretty much agree with the last sentence there, about best game ever of ever. It's kind of sad how much my heart leapt when I saw this. Not cancelled! Most anticipated DS game? Quite seriously, it could be.

Screens look awesome, I like the art style.
(By the way, totally will be localized, or someone's gonna pay)
