Collaboration of predator and prey...

Llamasoft and Lionhead Studios(get the head now?) are making a GC exclusive game called Unity. It sounds pretty cool as yet and I certainly trust Lionhead after B&W. All I've found is here..

Hmm...it should be an interesting title. Jeff Minter was the only guy at Atar making quality titles doing its final years in the hardware business. He was the guy behind Tempest 2000 if I remember correctly. Its nice to see him still in the business. Hopefully he still has the magic touch and Unity turns out well. I'll be keeping an eye out on Unity thanks for the heads up Gamer Donkey.

At first I was angry at Lionhead for not releasing Black and White: Next Generation for GC but now we get an exclusive title and the help of (as I understand) another video game master. I've never played anything from Minter but I know Peter Molyneaux to be a great game designer. Anyone have more info?

Did we play the same game?

B&W was inspired in what it tried to do.  I don't think it pulled it off, however.  Supposedly, Unity is Minters 'dream game', so it should be interesting.

I dont mean to be sceptic or superficial, but so far im not the least bit interested in the game. The screens ive seen look like those Winamp animations and a music-shooter or whatever its supposed to be doesnt win me over. Looks more like a game for people on crack.

A) Don't forget that its only five months into developement. A lot can happen, look at the F-Zero thread

B) Where'd you find screenshots?
